Old GOHAN,
new tricks.
GOHAN has a past now. The old token is GOHAN LEGACY, so the new one gets to just be GOHAN.
At our request, Klever marked the old asset as GOHAN LEGACY in the wallet. Small change. It saves the new token from going through life as GOHAN 2, and lets it be GOHAN again.
Two tokens, one story
This is no rebrand war between a new project and an old one. The new GOHAN inherits the name because it inherits the room. Legacy keeps the receipts of the first era, including the part where the team left and the holders did not.
The new token does not exist yet. Nothing has been issued. When it is, it gets its own post with the asset id in it, and you will not have to guess which one is which.
What the chain still says
One honest footnote. The rename lives inside the Klever wallet, and the chain never heard about it. At block 32894934 the old asset is still GOHAN-1ZDU, still named Gohan Meme, still ticking GOHAN. Open any other wallet and the old label looks back at you. Read the asset id. That part nobody can rename.
What to do with a token that already did its job
We would rather Legacy GOHAN did not sit in your wallet as a dead number forever. So here is what is on the table, one day. A holder who wants to could retire their Legacy GOHAN on purpose and receive an NFT that remembers how much went and that they were here for the first chapter.
Call it a Proof of Legacy. A receipt for showing up early, written where nobody can edit it. We are looking at where that receipt could open a door later: a drop, a list, a room you get into because you were around before this was a good idea.
No promises attached. Nothing is deployed, nothing is scheduled, and none of this pays you anything. Today it is an idea with a good name.
Nobody is taking your old bag
Burning would be your call, and only yours. Keep your Legacy GOHAN as a relic and it stays a relic. Turn it into an NFT and it becomes a relic of another kind. Both are fine. It is your rice.
Do not send your Legacy GOHAN anywhere. There is no button yet, nothing is watching, and nothing is being counted. Tokens you move on your own today are gone, and no NFT arrives at the other end. Read that twice, because this is the part that costs money.
When it exists, it will run inside our own interface, as a flow built for it. Infrastructure comes before the button, so the first thing we publish about this will be the working thing itself, with the numbers and the block they were read at, the way everything here goes.
The old GOHAN is not dead. It just got Legacy added to its name. And we have a few ideas about what happens next.
